All Ages Rock Venue in Hockinson!

Here's a new development for kids in East Vancouver.  The White Elephant is catering to young metal heads out in Hockinson/Brush Prairie on 182nd.

  1. I find it interesting that music can be expressive to the emotions. What are the psychological trigger points that a listener does when listening to music? I find this true when there are other art forms expressed, such as art, designs, dance, liberal arts, drama. These are all expressive to emotions, but I wonder what psychological trigger points affects a person.

  2. you make an interesting point. Does the specific nature of the music children are listening to affect their behavior? There definitely is a place that is being fulfilled by any musical choice, but at this point, are we talking the chicken and egg syndrome? An argument could be made that the need for a certain emotional placement point is itching in an individual and that the choice of input is merely a reaction to that itch. On the other hand, the form of artistic expression could be creating an itch, like a drug, or a Dick's burger, for more. This is a great discussion point!
